- Tenders are invited for Individual National and International Consultants for the Project Implementation Support at National Level and School Community Level (Chief Ta, Finance, Procurement, National Technical Advisor, International Technical Advisor, Site Engineers, Etc.)
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has received financing in the amount of US$ 60 million equivalent from the World Bank and USD 9.25 million from the Global Partnership for Education towards the cost of the General Education Improvement Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project.
The project will include the following components:
Component 1: Improving Student Learning Outcomes.
Component 2: Improving Sub-sector performance and Monitoring and Evaluation.
Component 3: Contingency Emergency Response.
Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank-s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (July 2016) (Procurement Regulations), and is open to all eligible firms and individuals as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
1 After project negotiations, the World Bank shall arrange the publication on its external website of the agreed initial procurement plan and all subsequent updates once it has provided a no objection.
Specific procurement notices for contracts subject to open international competitive procurement will be
announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business online, on the World Bank-s external website and dgMarket , the MoEYS website and the Koh Santipheap and Phnom Penh Post local newspapers. 2
